Fire Extinguisher Commissioning - £4.50 per extinguisher

Fire extinguisher commissioning is the initial servicing and labelling of your fire extinguishers. When purchasing a fire extinguisher from any retailer it is important to understand that it could become damaged in transit which in turn could cause it to fail in the event of a fire and put lives at risk. This is the reason that all fire extinguishers should be commissioned on site and in the location they are to be installed. The commissioning of an extinguisher is similar to a basic service; the attending engineer will examine the extinguisher, check the hose, O-rings, gauges etc. to ensure they are undamaged and fully functional. The attending engineer will also ensure that the extinguishers purchased are suitable for the risks involved, where applicable they will make recommendations on any other precautions that should be taken and issue a certificate in accordance with BS 5306. This is the most cost effective option if you are replacing existing fire extinguishers within your premises or if you intend to site your extinguishers using fire extinguisher stands. Fire extinguisher commissioning will be completed within 28 days from the date of order. Fire Extinguisher Commissioning and Installation - £9.37 per extinguisher

Fire extinguisher installation is the wall hanging of your fire extinguishers at the recommended height and location with the appropriate identification signs (identification signs sold separately). Fire extinguisher installation also includes the initial service (commissioning) and labelling of the extinguishers and the issue a certificate in accordance with BS 5306. Fire extinguisher installation will be completed within 14 days from the date of order.
