Dorgard is designed to legally hold open fire doors. The Dorgard fits to the botton of a fire door and activated by the sound of the fire alarm. Unlike electro-magnetic retainers the Dorgard unit requires no cables and can be used to hold the door open at any angle.

How does the Dorgard work

When the fire alarm is activated the Dorgards auidio reciever signals the plunger to retract and release the door.

The floorplate is designed for use where the door weighs more than 120kg or has a closing force of gtreater than 120nm.
