Redlam panic bolts secure fire exit doors against un-authorised use. They have been designed so that in an emergency situation the ceramtube™ is broken using the hammer which retracts the bolt and unlocks the exit door.

• The panic bolt can be released by removing the padlock (not provided), this allows authorised users such as staff to use the door without breaking the ceramtube™
