Fire blankets are generally used for kitchen fires involving cooking oils and waste bin or clothing fires. A fire blanket provides a smothering action which cuts off the supply of oxygen to the fire extinguishing the flames. Our fire blankets are BSI Kitemarked and certified to BSEN1869: 1997.
